_ If you manage to do well enough, upgrade forts to level 3 on tiles with more than 2 access points from germany/italy. _ Once you feel adequate with industrial capacity, upgrade forts to level 1 in the alps and below Belgium and max out air-defense on your borders/industrial sectors. _ Focus entierely on building up civil factories until late 1937/early 1938, with a token military factory once in a while, you want to be at least able to build two buildings at full speed. De Gaulle should of course lead your Tank divisions while Tassigny handles the Colonial Brigades. _ Put Gamelin on the Maginot line where hopefully, this time around, he will not ♥♥♥♥ up like a dense moron, setup Weygand below Belgium (more for fluff than anything as he was one of France's only elastic/hedgehog defense adepts, which was effective against the Blitz Krieg) and Georges in the Alps. _ Feel free to discard elements of your fleet if you need manpower. _ Remove colonial troops from the Maginot line, only proper infantry should be fighting the germans. _ Leave a token force in Indochina but if Japan wants it, there is little you can do about it except maybe prevent naval invasions with your fleet.
_ Recall Colonial Brigades from useless places such as Madagascar and sub-saharan Africa and set them up in Algeria to win the African war against italy, you can also send them to France to bolster undermanned spots below Belgium. _ Get ride of cavalry, motorised infantry, keep your light tanks. As France, Victory or defeat will be dictated by your ability to neuter the Luftwaffe and prevent it from weakening your static defenses to the point that it becomes possible to overwhelm them.
